Steph and I went to see the Men's Aerials Gold Medal Match at the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. Here's what we saw.

I brought along my Canon 5D + 70-200mm f/2.8L lens. It was seriously an epic time out. We managed to snag last minute general admissions tickets, so we were standing on ice for about an hour while we watched the amazing Olympians fly through the air.

Men's Aerials, for the uninitiated, basically involves twirling half a dozen times after jumping off a ski ramp, then somehow landing. It's acrobatic, it's athletic -- it's like nothing I've ever seen before.

All my Vancouver photos are posted here.

Awesome. Love how the lights hit the snow in 9 and 10. Reminds me of Chuck Anderson.
