Waimea Canyon in Kauai is over 10 miles long and 1 mile wide! It's the Grand Canyon of the Pacific Ocean.
At the end of the Canyon is Kalalau Valley, with a view all the way to the sea!
It was a pretty wet day, but we got out there in the middle of a lull in the rain. It is apparently one of the rainiest spots on the entire planet, receiving more than 130 inches of rainfall per year!
