But there's a rub: I have to cut and splice the MagSafe adapter. Believe it or not, this product includes wire strippers!
Talk about high barrier to entry for a consumer product. But I blame Apple for not licensing the technology. This is a truly next level absurd setup process.
Day 2 was mostly restful -- hanging out, a chill 2 mile hike over to the next lake. It was surprisingly difficult to figure out how to poop in the wild. But after some practice on Day 2, I think James and I got the hang of it.
We headed to Bear Lake and found a pretty cool camp site. Hung out near the waterfalls while Mark and Sanny fished. Built a massive bonfire and supped on the most delicious ramen ever. Even though it was spicy. =)
Mark and Sanny organized an awesome trip out to the Emigrant Wilderness in the Sierra Nevada mountains. On Day one we made out out to Camp Lake via the Crabtree Trail. It was impossible to get through to the trailhead, so we parked near the stables and walked the 3-4 miles instead via road. James and I had never hiked like this before, so we were pretty darn exhausted -- it was up a few thousand feet in elevation too so that didn't help.
Once we got to Camp Lake though, we were definitely treated to some really nice scenery and a relaxed evening of cooking, eating, and tending the camp fire.
